Thank you for being an OPEN Houston Charter Member. Your commitment and generosity are the foundation of everything we do. As a charter member, you directly support OPEN Houston’s mission to cultivate a thriving, globally connected community of entrepreneurs and leaders—and you help underwrite the events and programming that bring our community together.
Because of your support, we are able to deliver impactful programming such as our partnership with The Ion for the Entrepreneurship Roundtable series, the Virtual AI Roundtable series, and mentorship of youth through our Emerging Leaders cohort. Charter Member Expectations
Active stewardship is the heart of our community
Charter Members are expected to play an active role in strengthening the OPEN community and expanding its long-term leadership footprint by:
- Attend and meaningfully participate in at least 2 OPEN events each year
- Pay annual dues ($750/year) in a timely manner to underwrite events
- Remain active and reasonably responsive in the OPEN community through WhatsApp and other communications
- Represent OPEN with professionalism and help strengthen the organization’s credibility and presence across the broader community
- Meaningfully contribute in at least one of these stewardship ways every year:
- Mentor senior executives or emerging leaders
- Open doors to professional, civic, and board roles
- Build partnerships with marquee institutions
- Support funding and introductions to potential sponsors
- Speak at OPEN events or partner organizations
- Nominate, introduce, or cultivate qualified prospective members
- Serve actively on committees, or in a Board or officer role
